2010 Calendar of Events

  Saturday, May 29th            -  Reading and Movie Nights in the Garden Begin 

                                                 (every Saturday until fall)

  Sunday, August 29th         -  3rd Annual BackPack Giveaway

                                                  with Snacks and Free Haircuts

  Saturday, October 30th     -  3rd Annual Harvest Fest

  and Movie Night

  Saturday, November 20th -  3rd Annual Craft and

                                                  Cookie Decorating Day

  Saturday, December 18th -  3rd Annual Holiday Dinner

   

Times for all events will be published well in advance. 

We wanted to let everyone know when our major events will be so you can mark your calendars and coordinate with other events going on in and around the Detroit area.

Other events may be posted in the future, so check for updates often.

We are always looking for volunteers to assist with our events and to help in the garden once planting season begins.

The GSCC Street Fair ...

was great fun for everyone who attended, despite the stormy weather.  We are sure that the inclement weather kept many people from making the trip to Georgia Street (at least we hope that's the reason for the poor attendance)

We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped out that day...especially the IICD volunteers who gave so selflessly of their time, and brought the terrific games and International Taste Fest.

We would also like to thank those who did brave the weather to join us.
